SERVICES

Pinnacle Research provides multiple levels of service and consultation to assist land managers in better understanding their visitors, facilities, resources, and programs.  Below are some areas of study our project
teams specialize in.
VISITOR STUDIES

Visitor studies reveal characteristics of visitor populations which allow managers to better understand the recreating public that use sites under their management.

Typical studies explore satisfaction and opinions of recreationists, volume of visitor use at recreation sites, and characteristics of visitors and their trips.

INVENTORY AND ASSESSMENT

Inventories of recreation sites provide consistent tracking and reporting of site and facility conditions over time, which help prevent facility and resource degradation.

On site and online mechanisms for site and facility assessments work to identify issues in the early stages of development so that steps can be taken to mitigate for challenges in a timely fashion.

LAND USE PLANNING

Analysis of existing land use helps to ensure resource protection while providing for outdoor recreation opportunities that span the spectrum from primitive areas with a high degree of solitude to large, hardened campgrounds for waterside RV camping and motorboat launching and docking facilities.
