ABOUT US

We are a small, hard-working consulting firm established in 2001 and based in Western Montana.
 
From large-scale research projects to periodic visitor studies at small recreation areas, information gathered by our firm assists managers in making informed decisions regarding management of public recreation sites.

Kim began conducting outdoor recreation research while at The University of Montana. Upon completing a Resource Conservation degree from the School of Forestry, she worked full-time conducting travel and recreation research. Kim began an independent consulting business in 2001, serving clients such as NorthWestern Energy, Avista Corporation, and Pacificorp Energy, as well as Montana Fish, Wildlife & Park, Bureau of Land Management, US Forest Service, and other pubic and private agencies.

 

Kim enjoys a number of outdoor recreation activities, including hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, paddleboarding, snowboarding and others.

Liz began working in the outdoors in the late 1990s while pursuing a degree in Resource Conservation from the School of Forestry at The University of Montana.  Upon completion of her degree she worked as a Hydrological Technician and later as a Natural Resource Technician before beginning a career in recreation surveying in 2012.

 

Liz spends her free time with her family enjoying the outdoors in Northwest Montana hiking, hunting, skiing, horseback riding, fishing, gardening, swimming, snowmobiling and four wheeling.
